broken piers along C & D Canal Oct 07, 2009

I read the book and took a trip last Sunday hoping to catch some fish at the piers along the Chesapeake & Delaware Canal. I stopped at two of the piers in the North bank and they are horribly broken. The woods are old and rotted, they need to be immediately removed or replaced for public safety. I was so disappointed and just went home without even taking out my fishing rods.
